Nostalgic Post-Buble

Well, it's a marvellous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low

And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love

Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own

And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide
Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love
- Moondance, Michael Buble

Favourite tune from Buble…but not my Sinatra best (it’s Strangers In The Night for me!)

And boy was he awesome. Apologies to Blur, Suede, SO7, Robbie Williams, etc, last night was the best concert I’ve ever been to. And I didn’t even have to lose my voice and get on my dancing feet! It was splendid. Buble was pitch-perfect, funny as hell and had a weird dancing pattern…which made him so adorable. The sound system was impressive (first time I was impressed with that stupid venue) and the crowd was beautiful. His slow songs hit the bones, man. He jumped down the stage at one point and ran around the floor of the venue, up the stairs…all the way to the $58 seats unaccompanied.

And at some point…he imitated Josh Groban, Ray Charles, Maroon 5, Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Prince and gaaaah… Michael Jackson. Ooh and he cursed. I like people who curse! Hahahahahaha.

Oh well.

Next stop…got to save money for RENT…this musical I’ve been wanting to catch since I was like..erm..18? Heck, it’s partly the reason why I want to go New York!

RENT
“The number one fact to remember about Rent is that its 35-year-old composer, lyricist, and playwright, Jonathan Larson, was struck dead by an aortic aneurysm less than a month before the original production opened in New York. The work went on to win every possible Broadway award, including Tony awards for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Score of a Musical, plus nothing less than the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Jonathan Larson's rock musical retelling of the "La Bohème" story, but relocated to AIDS-era East Village, New York. A penniless songwriter's love for a young woman grows even as illness begins to consume her. The poet Rodolfo is now punk rocker Roger. Tubercular Mimi is now an AIDS-infected dancer at an S&M nightclub. Painter Marcello is now aspiring filmmaker Mark Cohen, and so forth. The ending is transformed from the opera, but the theme of love striving to endure beyond all obstacles remains. Songs include "Seasons of Love," "Without You," "Out Tonight," "One Song Glory," "I'll Cover You" and "Santa Fe."

Rent is the late Jonathan Larson's version of Puccini's La Boheme, the ever-popular opera in which a group of French artistes struggle to survive in the garrets above Paris. Larson changed the locale to New York City's East Village, updated the characters occupations (a songwriter and filmmaker as opposed to a poet and painter, for example) and chose a subplot of social activism.

Along the way he's managed to change the face of musical theater in America. The musical takes place in New York City's East Village; its characters are young artists attempting to make a living while staying true to their ideals. Many of them are HIV-positive; the need to prove their brief lives were worthwhile and productive consumes them. They try to live each day at a time, concentrating on the value of their relationships with one another.”

- onlineseats.com/theater/ rent-tickets/index.asp

Hmm..

And this time round….guess who has been roped into its cast?
It’s the freaking sexy Karen Mok, okay!

Anyway, I would love to get all my friends to catch RENT, especially the Moonies, this December. It will be a perfect ending to a tumultuous year, no? And plus, knowing these people from those idealistic poly years and being around one another during each specific uni days, it’s damn poetic to be watching it together. Guys, interested? $78?

Hmmmm… One month to think about that.

I realise…I am very close to Noreen, Weiling, Clara and Liah. But we all don’t really have much thing in common. It’s more of our uniqueness complementing one another. They are very grounded people (except for Noreen, who flies..hahaha..errk.. lame). Sometimes too grounded for the idealistic me. But hey, these guys bring me back down.

As for moonies…hah, they god damn fly/float/drift with me. It’s nice to have company when you’re on top of the world…and then when I come crashing down.

Hot air balloons look so…gay. I like.

Anyway,

Moonies, I am feeling a bit nostalgic here..so bear with me.

Ting has been an inspiration for me to pursue a uni life. In her, I see that “everything is possible” and reaping rewards after hardship. Susan shares many classic Mona moments and has provided her own brand of comfort and kindness. And she makes mean cookies.

In Nani I see optimism and the “die-die must get my way” go-getter attitude. Her no-nonsense disposition inspires me not to become such a pushover. Jason, to rip him of his lewdness, shows us how a romantic can never-make-it. Heh, kidding Jay. Well, he shows how we all can love unconditionally, through tight pockets. In him I see, brightness amid the glooming frontier and that eventually, passion will prevail.

Lauren is an enigma, a walking contradiction who brings rainbow colours into my life. This doesn’t imply that she’s my gay partner! Being the geographically closest Moonie, she’s been around the longest and well, I cant deny that my ideas and views bounce off hers. Ismail shows me the importance of fearing God, family ties and kinship. In him, I see myself doing anything and everything under God’s willing. And his drrty pop obsession serves me well, too!

Finally, in Sha I see the dark and light of things. I see charity so strong one is compelled to do the same. Her naked ambitions (it’s a term, lah!) tell me to go on..dream..live and let live.

So Moonies…live. Live your life, be free.

Gaaaaaaaah…it’s fucking cliché. Hah.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure … measure a year
In daylights
In sunsets
In midnights and cups of coffee
In inches
In miles and laughter and strife
In five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure … a year in the life

How about love
How about love
How about love
Measure in love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand journeys to plan
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life of a woman or a man
In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned or the way that she died

It’s time now to sing out though the story never ends
Let’s celebrate remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love
Remember the love
Remember the love
Measure in love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love

To the rest…oi, you know I love you.

I guess right now, one has no idea how disappointed I feel. I am feeling very lousy. Maybe, a little regretful. But I try not to dwell on regret. It’s generally a shitty feeling. And I am oh so tired and thirsty and sun-beaten. I must say that this is, by far, the most emotionally-draining fasting day.

“Let’s all take it as experience then.”

Hmmm. Easy said than done. But as always, I will always move on. After all, what’s another rejection?

Heh.

My weekend was tiring. Tiring like hell. Friday saw me scampering home to break fast…but #22 was full so I had to wait for the next bus. And when the prayer was heard, I was only at Serangoon. So, I took out one date and ate it slowly and sadly on the bus. When I got off, I stopped at 7-11 and bought a pack of milk. Then, again slowly and sadly, I made my way home…eating more dates and drinking milk as I walked along. Friday was by far, the most humbling break-fast-meal I had.

Caught CORPSE BRIDE with Lauren on Friday (or Saturday..). I loved it. Very kooky…but very short.

Went to Mac to catch-up on news and other crap…Couldn’t recall what time I reached home…probably around 0200hrs. Went home…caught a bit of TV..crashed..only to got up at 0430hr for sahur.

Saturday saw me dragging my ass down to Junction 8 for the stupid meeting. The guys were happily eating their Big Breakfast meals when I came. I wasn’t tempted…I was just sleepy and lethargic. Meeting ended at around 1230hrs and I went gallivanting around the mall…making very little damage in a bottle of rose water (toner), facial scrub, facial mask, leave-in hair conditioner and erm, cotton wools. Went home and tried to sleep…but it was soon 1730hrs and man..i was out of the house again.

Yeah I went BodyCombat and 5 minutes into it, I wanted to die.

The class started at 1850hrs and by 1856hrs I could break my fast but it wasn’t as easy as it seemed. I had to discreetly jump and kick my way to my corner, pick up a date, pop it into my mouth and try not to choke on it.

That’s all I had, water and a piece of date, all the way till 2000hrs…when Lauren and I adjourned to the dressing room. I took out a banana, split it to half and gave the half to Lauren, who was starving. We both slumped against the lockers..a very pathetic sight.

Then after shower, we binged on a tray-like serving of a chicken murtabak.

Got home at 2250hrs and settled my ass in front of the TV..waiting for the match to start. I thought Peter Crouch was a bumbling idiot but, obviously the media didn’t think so. I thought Beckham was more of a hindrance to his mates most of the time too. However, I have to say that he was wrongly judged and carded. But oh well, Beckham and red cards are like good friends whom have not met for a while. They need some time to catch up.

Okay at this point..i am just rambling.

After a whole morning of soccer, I woke up slightly past noon on Sunday. Body was aching like hell, no thanks to BodyCombat. Read papers and watched a bit of TV. Then at 1630hrs, lugged 2 pairs of inline skates and met nani and Lauren at bishan park.

No…we weren’t looking like that at all. I hadn’t been blading for years (8 years?) and when I stood up, I was so chicken shit-scared and wobbly. Lauren and Nani were going at a turtle’s pace but oh well, at least they could manage on their own, lah. My blades were old and super dusty but thank God the wheels were still turning fast. My only qualm was that I had no brakes and I hadn’t got any protection guards on.

Close to 1900hrs (yeah we broke fast and ate otak-otak in nani’s car) we made our way to Toa Payoh for dinner…at that point, I was god damn tired..and no longer hungry. Got home around 2200hrs + and well, I showered, caught a bit of TV and ..sigh..took out my proofs and started editing/proofreading. What the hell….

Got some more things to share
- my sister’s 1st job
- my hari raya clothes fiasco
- job interview (the cause of this melancholy actually…nuff said)

maybe next edition….

Right now, let me just drown in an emotional rollercoaster state of mind. And oh, I’ll listen to Michael Buble too. Maybe tonight he can be the antidote to my depressing and tiring Monday.

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me...
And I'm feeling good
I'm feeling good

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on the tree
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun
You know what I mean (don't you know )
Butterflies all havin' fun
You know what I mean
Sleep in peace when the day is done
That's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
For...me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life..
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new life
For me...

And I'm feeling... good
I'm...feeling good
I'm feeling so good
I feel so good

Problems with white elephants?

The police had let out a stern warning to Buangkok residents...those who had pasted pictures of 8 white elephants at the MRT station.

Tell me, Mr Policeman, what's the warning for?

Maybe tomorrow, we can find pictures of monkeys wearing police uniform pasted at the station.

And the government...

Is it because you guys study too hard that there is not an ounce of humour in your bones? Or is it because in your culture, white elephants are deemed to be an obscene/lewd sign? Come on...pictures of white elephants...THAT's FUNNY, MAN!!

I've got another confession to make...I'm your fool

I left office on the dot yesterday…but dammit, I still couldn’t reach home in time to break fast. When the prayer was heard, I was reaching my void deck. Then…for some shit reason…I actually had tears welling in my eyes. What the hell??? Just because I couldn’t make it home in time? I couldn’t believe it either!

Btw, I prayed for porridge and guess what? There was porridge on the table! Maybe I should pray for fondue tonight? Hah pushing my luck here cause WHO EATS FONDUE TO BREAK FAST??

You Are Italian Food

Comforting yet overwhelming.
People love you, but sometimes you're just too much.

I’m Italian food…and I’m too much? How can Italian food be too much? Hahaha!

You Are a Silly Hat

Cute, funny, and a little dorky.

Last Tuesday night, I received an sms. It was a month early for that kind of sms…but well, thanks anyway. I didn’t know if I should feel happy or sad upon reading the message. Happy because I hadn’t heard from you for eternity (in friendship years, at least)…sad by the sound of the message. Did I sound nonchalant to you? I hope I wasn’t. Maybe I did. Argh! I don’t know!!!

Anyway, I’m sure it took guts for you to make the first move. I applaud you because I cant do it. And I’m glad you did it because I could feel its sincerity coming through the phone line. Maybe it’s time I make the next move.

If you are reading this, tell me if you can make it.

And we’ll rejoice.

When I talk about it
It carries on
Reasons only knew
When I talk about it

All renew

Big me to talk about it
I could stand to prove
If we can get around it
I know that it's true

When I talked about it
Carried on
Reasons only knew
But it's you I fell into

Well I talked about it
Put it on
Never was it true
But it's you I fell into

The contractors are tearing down walls and doors and it is totally dusty in this stupid office. Right now, i am using my shawl to wrap my head a la Osama Bin Laden. My skin feels itchy and eyes hurt. Thank God i didnt wear contact lenses today.

And with this condition, i will go home straight on the dot at 1800hrs. I intend to break fast in the office before making my way home but ..i cant breathe, lah!

Oh well.

Mari bangun sahur!

NRZ, a colleague, asked me when I would get married.

Me: I don’t even have a boyfriend!
NRZ: But there must be someone waiting for you, right?
Me: Huh? Waiting for me? For what?
NRZ: Waiting for you, lah.
Me: Hmmm..if someone’s waiting, he better tell me cause I have no idea!
NRZ: Really don’t have?
Me: Argh! Don’t have lah!!

Yesterday at MOE…

(translated)
Suryani: Hi Mona, long time no see!
Me: Hello Suryani!
S: How are you? When getting married? Heard you were already engaged…
M: WHAT? Engaged? With who?
S: (obviously joking) Eh, how do I know? I heard you were engaged. (chuckled)
M: Yeah right…that’s funny.
S: What are you waiting for?
M: Erm…someone to marry? A man, preferably?
S: Anyone from office?
M: Huh? Mr Wim? He’s old!!!
S: Old but strong!
M: Ah crap!!@#$#$

Single doesn’t mean I’m lonely.
But yes, I admit, having someone close will be nice.
But hey, my life is beautiful as it is.

Anyway…

I have 3 dates lined up next week. With girls, but hey, who cares! Wait! I have a date with a certain Michael Buble next Monday.
I’m coming, baby!

I left the office early yesterday because I wanted to break fast at home. After all, it was the first day of fasting. By the time I reached the stupid bus stop, it was already 1830hr. How to reach home by 1858hr? Reached home about 1905hrs and everyone was eating happily, although they were just chomping on plain noodles. What the hell..plain noodles?!

Hahaha..so much for my first iftar. Anti-climax, man. Thank God this morning’s “feast” was more encouraging. Wonder what will it be, tonight. Pray hard that it’s porridge.

OKAY. Enough about food.

Errr..apart from food, I don’t have anything else to talk about.

Hahahahaha.

Well, at least, not yet.

The summer wind, came blowin' in - from across the sea
It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me
All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand
Two sweethearts, and the summer wind

Like painted kites, those days and nights - went flyin' by
The world was new, beneath a blue - umbrella sky
Then softer than, a piper man - one day it called to you
And I lost you, to the summer wind

The autumn wind, and the winter wind - have come and gone
And still the days, those lonely days - go on and on
And guess who sighs his lullabies - through nights that never end
My fickle friend, the summer wind
- Summer Wind, Michael Buble

Uh huh.
The summer wind took my love away.
But that’s okay
For spring will eventually come again.

We never grew up, we just got ourselves free

I think I am turning into a difficult and eccentric loser.

I kicked up a fuss just now about losing my red high-back chair in the office. Looking back, I could have taken any other chair but man, my chair was damn comfy, okay. Then this morning…the fish cutlet tasted like the river. So I threw away the fish, together with the rice and vege. The mother must have realised that the fish taste like the river and knowing how particular I was about fish, she steamed up a corn for me so that I wouldn’t starve the whole day.

Oh well.

Some colleagues went to eat smelly beancurd and they packed it back to office. They ate outside in the lobby... but my god, the smell was god damn awful. Because I wanted to desperately pee, I had to make my way to the loo…which was just beside the exit/entrance. I swear the smell of the frigging beancurd was worse than poo. How come people can put that in their mouths, I wonder.

And now, the glue smell is in the air. The office is driving me insane. I am getting a high/headache from the glue smell. More whining. I am tired and cold and sleepy. I slept all the way from MOE to work just now. Yet, I am contemplating whether I should go catch a show later tonight on my own or not. I wonder what my family will be having for breaking fast. I wonder if I should take the advanced festive loan. I wonder if I should go for bodycombat tomorrow.

"I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me ‘bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see
Was a yellow lemon tree
..."

I wonder if I should go Bangkok (mid December) with Clara or KL (end November) with Nani. Honestly, I have enough of KL. I’d been there 5 times within 15 months, man. Maybe I should whack Hanoi/Saigon on my own for 3 days…and err..sleep on the Vietnam sidewalks.

Or, I can just keep my remaining 2 days of leave - carry on working, have more money to spend and be miserable at the same time.

Hahaha. How can that be possible, man?

Man…this is pure inane rambling!

I don't practice Santeria
I ain't got no crystal ball
Well I had a million dollars but I
I'd spend it all
If I could find that jeina
And that sancho that she'd found
Well I'd pop a cap in sancho and I'd slap her down

What I really wanna know (my baby)
What I really wanna say
I can't define
Well it's love that I need
My soul will have to wait

Till I get back

Find a jeina of my own
Daddy's gonna love one and all
I feel the break, feel the break
Feel the break and I gotta live it out
Oh yeah un-huh
Well I swear that I...

What I really wanna know (my baby)
What I really wanna say
I can't define
Got love!
Make it go
My soul will have to...

What I really wanna say (my baby)
What I really wanna say
Is I've got mine
And I'll make it
Yes, I'm going up
Tell sanchito that...

If he knows what is good for him
He best go run and hide
Daddy's got a new .45
And I won't think twice
To stick that barrel

Straight down sancho's throat
Believe me when I say
That I got something for his punk-ass

What I really wanna know (my baby)
What I really wanna say
is there's just one way back
And I'll make it
My soul will have to wait
- Santeria, Sublime

Inane rambling deserves an inane song…but hahahahaha…this old song is damn “ska-punk” laidback and ..ahem..kick ass!

I will now observe a 5 minute silence…focussing on being transported to a beach in Jamaica.

Less than 3 more hours to go.
Wo hoo!

Well I'm all about them words...

Aku tak bisa luluhkan hatimu
Dan aku tak bisa menyentuh cintamu
Seiring jejak kakiku bergetar
Aku tak terpakut oleh cintamu
Menelusup hariku dengan harapan
Namun kau masih terdiam membisu

Sepenuhnya aku ingin memelukmu
Mendekap penuh harapan 'tuk mencintaimu
Setulusnya aku akan terus menunggu
Menanti sebuah jawapan 'tuk memilikimu

Betapa pilunya rindu menusuk jiwaku
Semoga kau tahu isi hatiku
Dan seiring waktu yang terus berputar
Aku masih terhanyut dalam mimpiku
- Menanti Sebuah Jawapan, Padi

I love them..and this is such a gem from them. Kasih Tak Sampai is still the bomb, though.

Cheh cheh cheh…enough of this Malay music.
I cant help it though…I went on a rampage…malay singing karaoke session yesterday and some songs were still ringing in my head. Like that Anuar Zain’s song.

Anyway…

I received a glimmer of hope in the form of a phone call this morning. Am quite happy about it..but that’s about it. Will update when the time is right, though.

By the way, the Citibank people keep on calling…requesting my payslip and stuff. Star, you gave them my number? You forgot something. I cant afford (or qualify for) a credit card, lah! It was a bit disheartening telling them how much I earn. They could have been thinking, "Eee cannot afford still want to apply.” I didn’t, okay.

Oh well.

Liah bought her ipod nano yesterday and she showed it to me. So nice. She will then pass her ipod shuffle to her brother. Man… I wonder. Will my brother buy a new mp3 player? Then, can I I have his big Creative Zen player? Oh damn…If he gets a new one, he will pass the old one to the girlfriend lah, cuckoo!

Me? I am still struggling trying to save for a decent computer.

If you’re telling me to buck up on my saving…please come nearer. So that I can bash you straight in your face.

Fasting month starts tomorrow. Part of me celebrates, another part of me dreads. Hari Raya will soon come and that can mean (apart from the good stuff) being broke. The mother had already ordered new clothes for me and she told me the price. It’s not indecently priced…but wahlao..i haven’t got the chance to see it and decide for myself. What if I don’t like the clothes? Judging by the mother’s dubious taste…damn. That means…as usual, I will be scrambling for the perfect Hari Raya clothes few days before the actual day itself. Man…some things never change.

Hah. Okay…let’s just focus on the fasting first.

To all my Muslim readers, and the non-Muslims who are sporting enough to try, let me wish you the best of Ramadhan. May sexual thoughts and earthly desires desert you and may you gain all the goodness of the holy month.

Have faith and remember, 13+ hours without food and drink wont kill you.

So now
Seize the night
Eat and fuck.

Haha.

###

My table is still not ready!!!$#%fucker#$%$^

It’s PK’s xxth birthday today…so HAPPY BIRTHDAY PK! She’s treating us for lunch at Geylang in about 10 minutes…so YEAH!

I was reading Star’s blog…and I was giggling meself silly reading her dance experience with the gaylord. Hahaha.. Don’t know when we will go there again but yeah, the look I gave when I saw the couple scooting off to make out was ..gasp..priceless.

Went karaoke with Liah, Mail and Nazmi last night. Hilarious! Initially I thought..hmm..can introduce Nazmi to Liah. But then…hmmm..Liah and Mail would make a very funny and noisy couple. But, well…Liah is kind of seeing someone right now. Never mind. Next time then.

Anyway, yeah..last night was hilarious, even though I had an aching feeling at my lower jaw. It can be my wisdom tooth growing! I was ..ahem..proud to say that I could complete that Ella’s Sepi Sekuntum Mawar Merah song…complete with screams and shrills. And that dangdut song by Liah and Nazmi…tsk tsk tsk…my my…what a way to welcome Ramadhan. Hahahahaha.

Oh shit. Got to go.
Leave you with this.

Beribu bintang dilangit
Kini menghilang
Meraba aku dalam kelam
Rembulan mengambang
Kini makin suram
Pudar ilhamku tanpa arah
Sedetik wajahmu muncul
Dalam diam
Ada kerdipan ada sinar
Itukah bintang atau rembulan
Terima kasih kuucapkan

Izinkan kumencuri bayangan wajahmu
Izinkan ku mencuri khayalan denganmu
Maafkanlah oh...
Andai lagu ini
Mengganggu ruangan hidupmu
Kau senyumlah oh...
Sekadar memori
Kita di arena ini
Kau ilhamku
- Kau Ilhamku, Man Bai

Later.

Well..it’s a pretty hectic day. And I am pretty much screwed up because I didn’t get to do many things. And judging by the state of my hurricane-swept office, I doubt I can do much tomorrow.

Oh well.

Maybe tonight I can watch my Motorcycle Diaries again. Caught it on Sunday and it was superb.

I just love Latin American movies. I don’t know. I like stories of struggle and hopelessness, I guess.

By the way,

Last Sunday was one of the most wonderful afternoons I had. The wind was blowing very strong to the point of being chilly. I stood at my doorstep with my eyes shut. I could feel it again - the coldness of the British Channel as I stood precariously on the cliffs of Seaford. I tried to remember the day seagulls flew inches off my head, probably squawking Cockney.

Bbrrr…I feel chilly.

Monday monday sucky day

Freedom is just another word
For nothing left to lose...

Am shamelessly crashing Dear's desk and using her pc while she's out having lunch. I was fasting...but i broke it 20 mins ago (technically, it's half a day) because I want to eat painkillers.

It has been a bad bad Monday morning in the office. I think work will soon give me a seizure/heart attack I was so gek-ed up just now because my proof (which i brought home but didnt do because my weekend was too fun) had mistakes after mistakes in it. COME ON! IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE FINAL ALREADY!

Friday saw Liah, Dear, Ally, CY and I meeting at 2330hr at Tanjong Pagar. Guess we went? We went to HAPPY, lah...an "openly-secretive" gay bar. Sha and Rae joined me later. It was dance/house/techno and well, after a while, i kind of enjoyed this music. I started out partying to this music, okay! but hahaha...seeing guys groping, french kissing one another...was really an ..eye-opener.

P/s: Sha was "picked up" by a gaylord who asked her onto the stage for a dance. She was out-Divaed of course.

Left at 0330hrs..went for supper and by the time i went to bed, it was close to 6. I fasted the whole of Saturday...which was easy because no one woke me up the whole afternoon. Saturday was nice. Because Man U won!

Sunday...TV TV..then at 1700hrs went to gym. met mail there...then we went airport to pick up lauren. had ice cream and talked crap as always.....

ok ok..will update later...need to eat lunch.
