Bring it up slow

Back to civilisation…and trying to ignore the growing problem.

Liah has confirmed a room at the Ritz on her birthday and Clara has already booked it using her Citibank perks.

This time round, we have to get into the pool. Okay, enough of birthdays. We haven’t even met up for Noreen’s birthday…and it’s already over. 5 people is hard enough..so imagine 7. Okay, stop it.

Aint got clever things to say. So if you’re looking for wisdom, try Google.

Went through major decision-making process last night and decided that I should rebond my unruly hair. Figured that my hair is still too short to be curled. And..erm..i’m too chicken to do it because permed hair will make my ageing face look even older.

Mentioning looking older…last night on the train to gym, Lauren and I noticed this freaky looking toddler (about 3 years old). He has the face of a 15 year old Indian boy, lah! I was very spooked because he reminded me of my favourite prata-boy.

No, the boy hasn’t gotten a moustache…yet.

Anyway…

The don just asked me about my books and I answered her earnestly…much to the dismay of Pak Wim, I guess. He said it would be better to lie. I cannot lah. If the don wants to scold me, let her scold me. I have run out of excuses to cover everyone’s ass. My ears are freaking numb already. I went MOE and the officers were “begging” subtly for me to understand their positions…and back in office, the don was screaming and forcing everyone to understand her (or the company’s) predicament. Then…who the fuck understand my plight?

MOE people said the mafia was too aggressive…the mafia said the MOEians were a bunch of lembap people. Both sides look at me and hoping for a freaking miracle. If I can do miracle, I will get everyone down on the 19th to celebrate a Moonie’s birthday, okay!

Uh huh.

Maran: Mona, your books all done?
Mona: (giving a glassy look) No..no..of course not.
Maran: Any books sent for filming?
Mona: (resigned tone) No..sadly…
Maran: Really? No film? Textbook? Workbook? Havent filmed?
Mona: No..no..no..
Maran: (gleefully) Heh then I am very happy!
Mona: Heeeeyeyeyey… how can you be happy?!
Maran: My books also haven’t sent to filming.

Times like this, the slaves seek comfort in the inefficiency of each other. Hah. That’s shitandpiss’ spirit.

No NPCC tomorrow so yeah..can sleep in. Urgh, no? Dammit…I have to start doing spring cleaning already. The brother initially wanted to paint the house…but hmmm, one week of Ramadan has passed and there’s still no Nippon sign. Therefore I figure, the house will be in the same shade again this year.

Last night, the mother passed me a paper bag containing 2 sets of baju kurungs. I tried them on like an excited child. They are simple dresses…not stunning or whatsoever, but they will do. So..yeah..no need to buy Hari Raya clothes. No need to pay also because apparently the mother was the one who made them.

So for Hari Raya, I’m basically covered. Got my clothes and my shoes (last year’s but wore only once!). Right now, I’m growing another headache in trying to come up with a Hari Raya Financial Plan. It sucks to be an adult during Hari Raya, right? Haha!

I need to give extra dough to the father to help with the drinks and other miscellaneous Hari Raya items. Oh yeah..and the fitrah tithe, too! I need to give the mother extra also…for her inane flower decorations, the kuihs, cakes and other goodies. I need to contribute to the sister also…or maybe buy her shoes or bag or a proper hair cut. I thank God the brother is working and earning well. I cant imagine chipping in for his cause too. Pengsan!

Then I have to set aside extra transport money. Of course not forgetting the (haha) heart-attack inducing money to the relatives. My heart is telling me to sedekah money to my old aunties and uncles…especially Wak Long and Wak Japar who treat me like their own child. Then there’s Wak Ijah who helped me get through Uni…then there’s Queen Elizabeth (the grandma, lah!) and Nek Ngaji (the father’s godmother). Pengsan, pengsan! Then there are the pesky tykes…countless countless countless of them.

Urgh…this is scary. I don’t earn thousands. Little things have got to go this time…like buying Hari Raya cards and sending them to friends, buying/making my favourite goodies. Wahlao…I think post-Hari Raya depression is looming. Uh huh..the Great Depression.

Oh my Mission NY’06!

Well well…

Am contemplating if I should go gym tomorrow. If I go gym, then I don’t think I want to go see Motor Cross at Marina Promenade.

Ting said it’s going to start at 2000hrs. Wait… There’s EPL at 2200hrs (against Sunderland)! Wigan’s playing tomorrow also. But, how often can you get to see Motor Cross, Mona???

Man.

Hah! Trust KC to come up with this when he should be working.

But, he hits bull’s eye. This is the trauma I am facing at work. We’re in it all the same. No one to exchange shit with.

###

You can tell me

That was harsh.
But that's what i felt.
Aint got nothing to lose...

Except friends.

Your rambling, my turn.

Lil Miss Freckles: kwa kwa kwa.. says:
yup, certainly.. catfight..
Lil Miss Freckles: kwa kwa kwa.. says:
meow..
You cheesed me off, dude says:
oh no..it's the dog pound boy

Yup that took the freaking cake (and you can eat it too after breaking fast). Here we are, planning what to buy for your present(s), Lauren and Sha trying to get everyone and mulling over freaking dates, and BAM, there it goes.

Just one simple reason why we are not thinking of the actual day. On 2nd childish thought, I have many other reasons.

- because we expect you to celebrate your big day with your family
- because it’s a freaking weekday and most of us can only meet at 8 and be back home by 10+
- because some (fine, me) are dead broke…too broke for even freaking bus fare
- because work apparently takes half of some of our lives
- because we have no one to switch/manipulate dates/shifts/boss with
- because we are condemned, useless bad friends who cannot organise and suffering from acute low self-esteem
- because we feel pressurised in pulling this off thinking you may have a high “expectation”
- because we will be busy watching freaking Amazing Race on Wednesday

And as for people (I'm guilty, too) pulling out, what can we do if we cannot make it? Wait for me for I’ll come at midnight? God!

No wonder.
No wonder.
No wonder.

Okay.
Done.

My, what pleasant readings we’ve got this Friday afternoon. Guys, just one more birthday…and then we’re all through.

She goes one corner and pseudo-smoke now.

Oye! Part Deux

STOP BEGGING FOR SYMPATHY, LAH!

Photos lost then we must share the fucking blame, right?

How long have you been working here? Long enough to know, right?

(emailed)

###

Oye!

Stop bugging me about the stupid photos!

It's not my fault that they are lost..stuck in some crevices.

And you..gah..you're a freak.

###

So much for giving back to the society

You know how we always emphasise on the importance of proper spelling and stuff? Especially to kids?

Right.

Comes a stupid idiot in the form of an American toy maker who makes the word "jewelry" seems right.

Kiddo: But Mummy, it's written here J-E-W-E-L-R-Y!
Momo: No, Girl. It's J-E-W-E-L-L-E-R-Y.
Kiddo: You're wrong!

Feeling sexual, YG?

Hah..nothing sexual actually.

It's just funny listening to Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing and cracking my head over YG article at the same time.

I've been doing YG since morning...rather, since yesterday. It's like a cockroach that never dies.

Baby, I'm hot just like the oven
I need some loving...

What's that got to do with YG? Hahahah...
Okay, I'm going potty.

###

Vagued heart shaped box … but is that remotely possible?

I would…if you had let me finish.

Huh?

Exactly.

The 3 Lions beat the Poles 2-1 a few hours ago. Yeah…who needs Captain GoldenBalls now, right?

MikeEgerton/Empics
England's Ledley King and Poland's Radoslaw Sobolewski.

Crouch (or Crooge, hahahaha) was booed when he came aboard. Or rather, Sven’s plan was booed. Why mess a good formula? Was it Captain GoldenBall’s idea? How to win World Cup like that!

Hmmm
Actually, yeah, what was I thinking? *smacks head*

Jill initiated a dinner date with both Lauren and me tonight. But, we decided to cancel it off because Jill couldn’t confirm with me last night as she was afraid that she would have a job interview. Next time, man. A job interview is far more important. Besides, you stay so near…..

The mafia is on steroids. She has been moving around a lot and giving orders after orders. Mafia’s voice and movements are adding up to my freaking headache. Wait, I think my right brain just went numb.

My head is going to explode soon!
On another note, Susan wants to watch RENT with me. Yaye.

There’s a new self-pattern. I am getting to be a stickler for plans / schedules and timing. Maybe it’s just the fasting month…eat before this time..before that time.. And I am trying to spend more time at home because, haha, it’s nicer. Parents don’t snap/nag because it’s the fasting month.

Caught 50 First Dates on HBO again last night. So sweet it gave me headache…haha.

Hai…why do fools fall in love?

The mother thought it was a stupid show but I think she secretly loved it. Me? I love the soundtrack! Especially the last one during the credits. Never fails to let me cross over to that side of life. Hmm, vague moment there. And Drew Barrymore looks gorgeous in it. She always has, hasn’t she?

Will be hitting the gym tonight. Gonna have instant noods before I go because I don’t know what time I can reach town anyway. And today, am quite prepared. Brought 3 pieces of dates in my duffel bag…am quite eager to face the treadmill today. So feet, fail me not.

Awrite…gotta hit back to the daily drudge. I have to say a big THANK YOU to some readers (friends, lah) who offer advice and solutions to my misery. Yes, it’s mild depression because I did a case study on this topic before and so I know what the symptoms are. I think the mind is slowly developing a psychosis as it attempts to make sense of life.

I think having a numbing headache, perpetual sickness in the stomach, burning throat, blocked-yet-leaky nose are all self-induced. So I probably just need a placebo. I can choose to counter this crap…or I can just choose to let it take over my life…

The thing I did, you did it before. Tough.

I'm so happy
Cause today I've found my friends
They're in my head
I'm so ugly
But that's okay cause so are you
We've broken our mirrors
Sunday morning
Is everyday for all I care
And I'm not scared
Light my candles in a daze
Cause I've found God
Hey hey hey

I'm so lonely
But that's okay I shaved my head
And I'm not sad
And just maybe
I'm to blame for all I've heard
But I'm not sure
I'm so excited
I can't wait to meet you there
But I don't care
I'm so horny
But that's okay my will is good
Hey, hey, hey

I like it
I'm not gonna crack
I miss you
I'm not gonna crack
I love you
I'm not gonna crack
I kill you
I'm not gonna crack

I miss Kurt.

Macam tak betul, kan?

Separuh nafas ku terbang
Bersama dirimu
Saat kau tinggalkanku
Salahkanku

Salahkah aku
Bila aku bukanlah
Seperti aku yang dahulu

Ada makna tergali dari sini
Dari pertikaian yang terjadi

Kau hancurkan diriku
Bila kau tinggalkan aku
Kau dewiku
Kembalilah padaku
Bawa separuh nafasku
Kau dewiku

State of unrest

Stupid colleague misplaced some photos and now wanting me to share the fucking blame. Go to hell, freak!

Kind of having a “stuck-in-a-rut” feeling. So, excuse me while I sporadically assess my fucking life and mess things up along the way.

Sailor, I didn’t mean to “sabo” you on your blog.

Anyway,

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY, NOREEN WILLIE AZMAN!

May God bless you with lots of love, happiness and success. Hope it will be a pleasant one…although we cant join you in Dubai. We’ll catch up next week, perhaps. Happy birthday, dear friend.

You Should Get a PhD in Liberal Arts (like political science, literature, or philosophy)

You're a great thinker and a true philosopher.

You'd make a talented professor or writer.

Uh huh.

Didn’t manage to catch Four Brothers last night. We’ve got the timing wrong. Didn’t even meet Sha. I broke fast at BK and then…was engulfed by a mild depression. Took a long bus ride home. Every thing felt so sucky.

Caught HOUSE when I reached home…very clever show.

Heck I even caught Stripperella on Arts Central…and I liked it.

Nani cant make it on the 23rd for the gathering. Unfortunately, I cant make it for the whole week days (17 – 21 Oct) so you guys just gather without me. Mail, I’ll meet up with you over the weekend or something, can?

Okay…

There’s nothing left to say, isn’t it?

Where do I take this pain of mine
I run, but it stays right my side
So tear me open, pour me out
There's things inside that scream and shout
And the pain still hates me
So hold me, until it sleeps

Just like the curse, just like the stray
You feed it once, and now it stays
So tear me open, but beware
There's things inside without a care
And the dirt still stains me
So wash me, until I'm clean

It grips you, so hold me
It stains you, so hold me
It hates you, so hold me
It holds you, so hold me
Until it sleeps

So tell me why you've chosen me
Don't want your grip, don't want your greed
I'll tear me open, make you gone
No more can you hurt anyone
And the fear still shakes me
So hold me, until it sleeps
- Until It Sleeps, Metallica

Honestly I think I am going crazy.

The sister is now working at Toa Payoh’s Pizza Hut while waiting for her N Level results. She started on Saturday and it was a big thing in the family. You see…the sister is a pampered kid who doesn’t need to do anything. Actually, it’s more of being stubborn. She came home close to 0230hrs on Sat (Sun morning) and my parents were very anxious.

When the sister came home, everyone clamoured (including me) around her asking her about her work, how she broke fast and all that crap. It was quite hilarious. She had never come home so late but it’s funny to see the father not being able to scold her because it was work.

Anyway…the sister may be 17 BUT she’s still a bloody kid. So what if 15-year-old Sophie Willocq is a model? She’s still a kid! Maybe we all don’t want her to grow up. Lately I notice the mother has a certain air of melancholia …I guess it’s because the sister is not around. Yesterday, I think there was only the father at home breaking fast with her. Haiyah…this kind of thing..can be a bit sad, you know.

I guess that’s why you always read about me wanting to go back and break fast. Ramadan does bring a certain tone to the house.

Anyway…the irony of it all….

I am gonna catch Four Brothers with Sahriah later (she has a couple of free tickets). HOWEVER, tomorrow…I shall break fast (or at least go straight home) with the mother.

I amaze myself sometimes.

I would never bother you
I would never promise to
I will never follow you
I will never bother you
Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good

I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
No thought was put into this
I always knew it would come to this
Things have never been so swell
And I have never felt so well You know you're right

I'm so warm and calm inside
I no longer have to hide
Let's talk about someone else
Steaming, soup begins to melt
Nothin' really bothers her
She just wants to love herself

I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
No thought was put into this
I always knew it'll come to this
Things have never been so swell
And I have never felt so well

Nostalgic Post-Buble

Well, it's a marvellous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low

And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love

Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own

And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide
Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love
- Moondance, Michael Buble

Favourite tune from Buble…but not my Sinatra best (it’s Strangers In The Night for me!)

And boy was he awesome. Apologies to Blur, Suede, SO7, Robbie Williams, etc, last night was the best concert I’ve ever been to. And I didn’t even have to lose my voice and get on my dancing feet! It was splendid. Buble was pitch-perfect, funny as hell and had a weird dancing pattern…which made him so adorable. The sound system was impressive (first time I was impressed with that stupid venue) and the crowd was beautiful. His slow songs hit the bones, man. He jumped down the stage at one point and ran around the floor of the venue, up the stairs…all the way to the $58 seats unaccompanied.

And at some point…he imitated Josh Groban, Ray Charles, Maroon 5, Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Prince and gaaaah… Michael Jackson. Ooh and he cursed. I like people who curse! Hahahahahaha.

Oh well.

Next stop…got to save money for RENT…this musical I’ve been wanting to catch since I was like..erm..18? Heck, it’s partly the reason why I want to go New York!

RENT
“The number one fact to remember about Rent is that its 35-year-old composer, lyricist, and playwright, Jonathan Larson, was struck dead by an aortic aneurysm less than a month before the original production opened in New York. The work went on to win every possible Broadway award, including Tony awards for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Score of a Musical, plus nothing less than the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Jonathan Larson's rock musical retelling of the "La Bohème" story, but relocated to AIDS-era East Village, New York. A penniless songwriter's love for a young woman grows even as illness begins to consume her. The poet Rodolfo is now punk rocker Roger. Tubercular Mimi is now an AIDS-infected dancer at an S&M nightclub. Painter Marcello is now aspiring filmmaker Mark Cohen, and so forth. The ending is transformed from the opera, but the theme of love striving to endure beyond all obstacles remains. Songs include "Seasons of Love," "Without You," "Out Tonight," "One Song Glory," "I'll Cover You" and "Santa Fe."

Rent is the late Jonathan Larson's version of Puccini's La Boheme, the ever-popular opera in which a group of French artistes struggle to survive in the garrets above Paris. Larson changed the locale to New York City's East Village, updated the characters occupations (a songwriter and filmmaker as opposed to a poet and painter, for example) and chose a subplot of social activism.

Along the way he's managed to change the face of musical theater in America. The musical takes place in New York City's East Village; its characters are young artists attempting to make a living while staying true to their ideals. Many of them are HIV-positive; the need to prove their brief lives were worthwhile and productive consumes them. They try to live each day at a time, concentrating on the value of their relationships with one another.”

- onlineseats.com/theater/ rent-tickets/index.asp

Hmm..

And this time round….guess who has been roped into its cast?
It’s the freaking sexy Karen Mok, okay!

Anyway, I would love to get all my friends to catch RENT, especially the Moonies, this December. It will be a perfect ending to a tumultuous year, no? And plus, knowing these people from those idealistic poly years and being around one another during each specific uni days, it’s damn poetic to be watching it together. Guys, interested? $78?

Hmmmm… One month to think about that.

I realise…I am very close to Noreen, Weiling, Clara and Liah. But we all don’t really have much thing in common. It’s more of our uniqueness complementing one another. They are very grounded people (except for Noreen, who flies..hahaha..errk.. lame). Sometimes too grounded for the idealistic me. But hey, these guys bring me back down.

As for moonies…hah, they god damn fly/float/drift with me. It’s nice to have company when you’re on top of the world…and then when I come crashing down.

Hot air balloons look so…gay. I like.

Anyway,

Moonies, I am feeling a bit nostalgic here..so bear with me.

Ting has been an inspiration for me to pursue a uni life. In her, I see that “everything is possible” and reaping rewards after hardship. Susan shares many classic Mona moments and has provided her own brand of comfort and kindness. And she makes mean cookies.

In Nani I see optimism and the “die-die must get my way” go-getter attitude. Her no-nonsense disposition inspires me not to become such a pushover. Jason, to rip him of his lewdness, shows us how a romantic can never-make-it. Heh, kidding Jay. Well, he shows how we all can love unconditionally, through tight pockets. In him I see, brightness amid the glooming frontier and that eventually, passion will prevail.

Lauren is an enigma, a walking contradiction who brings rainbow colours into my life. This doesn’t imply that she’s my gay partner! Being the geographically closest Moonie, she’s been around the longest and well, I cant deny that my ideas and views bounce off hers. Ismail shows me the importance of fearing God, family ties and kinship. In him, I see myself doing anything and everything under God’s willing. And his drrty pop obsession serves me well, too!

Finally, in Sha I see the dark and light of things. I see charity so strong one is compelled to do the same. Her naked ambitions (it’s a term, lah!) tell me to go on..dream..live and let live.

So Moonies…live. Live your life, be free.

Gaaaaaaaah…it’s fucking cliché. Hah.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure … measure a year

I guess right now, one has no idea how disappointed I feel. I am feeling very lousy. Maybe, a little regretful. But I try not to dwell on regret. It’s generally a shitty feeling. And I am oh so tired and thirsty and sun-beaten. I must say that this is, by far, the most emotionally-draining fasting day.

“Let’s all take it as experience then.”

Hmmm. Easy said than done. But as always, I will always move on. After all, what’s another rejection?

Heh.

My weekend was tiring. Tiring like hell. Friday saw me scampering home to break fast…but #22 was full so I had to wait for the next bus. And when the prayer was heard, I was only at Serangoon. So, I took out one date and ate it slowly and sadly on the bus. When I got off, I stopped at 7-11 and bought a pack of milk. Then, again slowly and sadly, I made my way home…eating more dates and drinking milk as I walked along. Friday was by far, the most humbling break-fast-meal I had.

Entah kenapa…rasa macam seorang musafir…

What's Your Fairy Tale Fear? (with pictures)
brought to you by Quizilla

Caught CORPSE BRIDE with Lauren on Friday (or Saturday..). I loved it. Very kooky…but very short.

Went to Mac to catch-up on news and other crap…Couldn’t recall what time I reached home…probably around 0200hrs. Went home…caught a bit of TV..crashed..only to got up at 0430hr for sahur.

Saturday saw me dragging my ass down to Junction 8 for the stupid meeting. The guys were happily eating their Big Breakfast meals when I came. I wasn’t tempted…I was just sleepy and lethargic. Meeting ended at around 1230hrs and I went gallivanting around the mall…making very little damage in a bottle of rose water (toner), facial scrub, facial mask, leave-in hair conditioner and erm, cotton wools. Went home and tried to sleep…but it was soon 1730hrs and man..i was out of the house again.

Yeah I went BodyCombat and 5 minutes into it, I wanted to die.

The class started at 1850hrs and by 1856hrs I could break my fast but it wasn’t as easy as it seemed. I had to discreetly jump and kick my way to my corner, pick up a date, pop it into my mouth and try not to choke on it.

That’s all I had, water and a piece of date, all the way till 2000hrs…when Lauren and I adjourned to the dressing room. I took out a banana, split it to half and gave the half to Lauren, who was starving. We both slumped against the lockers..a very pathetic sight.

Then after shower, we binged on a tray-like serving of a chicken murtabak.

Got home at 2250hrs and settled my ass in front of the TV..waiting for the match to start. I thought Peter Crouch was a bumbling idiot but, obviously the media didn’t think so. I thought Beckham was more of a hindrance to his mates most of the time too. However, I have to say that he was wrongly judged and carded. But oh well, Beckham and red cards are like good friends whom have not met for a while. They need some time to catch up.

Okay at this point..i am just rambling.

After a whole morning of soccer, I woke up slightly past noon on Sunday. Body was aching like hell, no thanks to BodyCombat. Read papers and watched a bit of TV. Then at 1630hrs, lugged 2 pairs of inline skates and met nani and Lauren at bishan park.

No…we weren’t looking like that at all. I hadn’t been blading for years (8 years?) and when I stood up, I was so chicken shit-scared and wobbly. Lauren and Nani were going at a turtle’s pace but oh well, at least they could manage on their own, lah. My blades were old and super dusty but thank God the wheels were still turning fast. My only qualm was that I had no brakes and I hadn’t got any protection guards on.

Close to 1900hrs (yeah we broke fast and ate otak-otak in nani’s car) we made our way to Toa Payoh for dinner…at that point, I was god damn tired..and no longer hungry. Got home around 2200hrs + and well, I showered, caught a bit of TV and ..sigh..took out my proofs and started editing/proofreading. What the hell….

Got some more things to share
- my sister’s 1st job
- my hari raya clothes fiasco
- job interview (the cause of this melancholy actually…nuff said)

maybe next edition….

Right now, let me just drown in an emotional rollercoaster state of mind. And oh, I’ll listen to Michael Buble too. Maybe tonight he can be the antidote to my depressing and tiring Monday.

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me...
And I'm feeling good
I'm feeling good

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on the tree
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun
You know what I mean (don't you know )
Butterflies all havin' fun
You know what I mean
Sleep in peace when the day is done
That's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
For...me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life..
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new life
For me...

And I'm feeling... good
I'm...feeling good
I'm feeling so good
I feel so good
- Feeling Good, Michael Buble

Yes..that’s a weak attempt to stay positive, mona.
