Night time is the right time

Am craving for yesterday's mango-pomelo dessert again. This time, I want a whole pot of it. With the bloatedness all gone, nothing can stop me from all this "cooling" stuff.




Some morning I had.

Met Meiling at about 0620hrs at the void deck and then we headed to AMK Central for breakfast. Yes, we had toasts and prata at 0630hrs in the morning. God knows when was the last time I had breakfast this early. After that, we cabbed to Alcatraz.

The girls had their campcraft competition this morning at the Police Academy. The sun was brilliantly scorching, sparing no one from its searing torture. My face is slightly sunburnt come to think of it.

Met many old friends from the days of training and my, how "aged" some have gotten. But ah, it's obvious that their passion hasnt died down. They still want to dedicate a big part of their lives to the cause of the corps. Crazy, but really admirable.



What would the world be without passionated/spirited people?
People, like *ahem* us? :)

Anyway yeah, the girls did good today even though the flag couldnt go up and that the shelter collapsed after severe wind blows. It was one of the rare times that they managed to complete everything (including the gadget) within the stipulated time. Considering that they started training only in January and that my cadets can be difficult, this is a great feat.

So yeah. I'm just glad for the girls and for Meiling (the chief campcraft trainer). The competition is over, everyone can go back to their daily grind. No more backbreaking sessions under the hot sun.

Rushed to school without lunch and prepared for class for the one and only Izzy, who came 30 minutes late. It's the first class for Newswriting class and well...nothing much to say. The basics wouldnt take 3hours ... so I went really slow.

And now it's pouring like crazy. Was thinking of hitting Borders or some movies... but what the heck, it's like Sin City outside...gloomy and doomed. Except there's no naked ladies running around.

Wait, maybe there are.
It's just that I am stuck here in the classroom.
Freezing my tits off.
