Everything is 'f'-ed up

[1058hrs]

Was given the task of relieving a class…only to have it taken away. Was about to send the class to the library when another relief teacher came over and told me that she was told to relieve (and teach chemistry) the class too. Whoa, win already. Not that I am dying to relieve a class, doing nothing. But come on, why the confusion? So instead of having my break on the 4th and 5th period, I am free from the 1st…all the way to the 6th! Wahlao eh.

And oh, today, I have no proper class. Relieving all the way. I don’t mind that. More power to me. Money for doing..nothing. Sigh. Like I really really want that in my life.

Thank God I brought my laptop. Even though I have no internet connection, I managed to watch The Wedding Crashers which I downloaded a couple of weeks ago. Kept me entertained. Tomorrow, I will bring Meiling’s dvds to work…Eight Below and The Shaggy Dog. That will shave off almost 4 hours of my life.

Today…I really cant wait for the day to end. I cant believe I rather be with the monkeys in a cage than sit here doing nothing/reading Sophie’s World/watching movie.

[just came back from a trip to the classroom]

Oh! My supposedly next class is a ghost class. It is a Sec 4 class and apparently there is no one in there because…duh…they have all gone home after their prelims! Then why was I assigned there?? That means from 0730 until now (1055) I have been given nothing to do. My next class is at 1140. Who knows…that may be a no-go/no-show too. Cannot be too sure this time also. All I know for sure is that today, I can go home at 1320hrs.

God. I am yawning now.

And it is not because I am tired.
This time round, I am bored to death.


Yup. Am scowling away like a sad grumpy monkey.

Haha.
Just griping.
No biggie.
It will be a better day tomorrow.
I am sure.

Back at home and the afternoon heat is pissing me off. Had a short meeting with the Eng + Lit HOD and well, I cant escape teaching Macbeth. Anytime now…oh well, bring it on.

Am supposed to do research for that. But gah, enough of work. Think I shall have a quick shower and head outdoors. Let the afternoon sun saps the piss out of me. And then I shall seek refuge at Shaw Prince for a movie.
