Excuse me.
Think some of you don’t understand the bout of malaise I’ve been experiencing. Just because I am staying at home doesn’t mean that I am incapable of being tired.
..
..
..
I am getting tired of going for interviews. Am knocking my head against the wall. Due to itchy fingers, I replied to a multitude of job advertisements and somehow, they all replied at the same time. Even those from weeks ago which I cant really remember what jobs they are.

Many of these jobs were answered when I was still eager 2 months ago.
They took so long to reply?
Think they must have scrapped the barrel when they called me.
Initially, I felt I should go to all interviews (=opportunities) but slowly, they took a toll on the pockets (transport) and brain cells (tests after tests after tests of on-the-spot tasks). Now I go with gut instinct. Of course this gut instinct is backed up by Ed Logic. I consider all factors:
- Company background
- Mission and milestones
- Location (oh this is important)
- Nearby eating places
- Job
I know you will say “Job? But you know what the job is when you applied!” But aha! This is where you’re wrong. After sending out applications, I received a few meet-up offer emails. In the emails, they attached a job requirement list and well, they differed from the ones put up. Either different or with a lot more duties.

Okay..not as bad as it seems.
I have gotten a job offer. It came in the heat of noon just now, waking me up from my slumber. I am awrite with the offer. Would have jumped for joy if the pay is slightly higher but hey, it beats ShitNPee or Discovery ..or any other places in which I had worked before.
But...
But...
But...
I didn’t answer straight away because I am waiting to hear from TMC about the lecturing post. Guess I have to call them up tomorrow. Yup I have narrowed it down to two. If TMC bombs on me, I’ll gladly join Times/Marshall Cavendish.
And I think with that, I shall stop searching.
The end of full-time unemployment is near. I can feel it.
So screw tomorrow’s interviews! (Too far! Too cheena!)
But where the fish is my cheque? It’s only$300..come on!!
A thousand times goodnight, Doris Days, Sandra Dees and Donna Reeds.
P/S: This rambling is about nothing. I talk of nothing. Though the physical is calm, the mind is delirious. I’ve been bugged.
