Think I've just infected the PerezHilton virus to Lauren.
Am watching Live Earth on the internet right now. Dont want to miss on some performances...yeah I am that weird. Sucker. And now, a favourite - Foo Fighters - is on.
Thursday saw us at Disneyland - Grace, her sister, Lauren and I. I know many people think that HK Disneyland is crap but hey, gimme a break. It's my first time stepping foot in Disney-bloody-land...even if it's in Malaysia, I'll be happy to go. Come on..it's Disney :)
Took a long time to get to the entrance cause we were busy snapping pictures a long the way. Was ecstatic (though I didnt look like it...but I really was) upon entering that place and well...I wished I had the family with me. I knew the parents would like it there. Hahaha.
The weather was blowing hot and cold on us. It was scorching hot one moment, and rainy the next. That got us stinking really bad hahaha. There wasnt any hell-bent roller coaster or crazy drop ride. But the Madhatter's Tea Cup ride was whacked. Them cups looked so harmless but I swear they were all possessed.
Anyway, the place was partly lame, partly magical (= lamagical?). Not enough rides. Not enough characters roaming. Where's the mermaid? Why isnt she swooshing her tail on the sidewalk? But I love the Disney concept stores and other fantastic shops. I had a very difficult and traumatising time controlling my wallet. As my fund was very very limited, I couldnt spend any-o-how. But of course I had my standard magnet from there. That's the only thing I bought for myself. Was so tempted to get the Mickey Mouse ears but..but..oh well.
Friday I accompanied the girls to Wong Tai Sin, to check out the temple and had their luck/future/fortune read. Quite interesting I must say. In the evening, Ah Lau brought us to this cool Italian (fine dining) restaurant, Grappa's. Her old friend, Elizabeth, joined us too. Good food, good company. Thank you Ah Lau. Headed to Lan Kwai Fong after dinner. That place was ..wow. Alas, it's too crowded. Very claustrophobic.
Saturday was supposed to go to the giant Buddha place but we were late. So we ended up shopping...just like what we have been doing for the past few days.
My feet are aching.
We are going back tomorrow. It is only then will I upload the pictures and stuff. Am too tired now. Dont think I can make it.
