Heh, my best and worst descriptions are true. The rest...hmm, not really.
If fate had turned its face to the other side last night, i wouldnt get to write this entry in the comfort of my office. i could have been in the hospital, fighting for my life...with a burnt kitchen at home. i came home at 2100hrs and well, was famished. But the mother didnt cook dinner so i was left to my own "devices". Went to the fridge and saw a few sausages and a pack of Japanese crispy chickens pieces. Since the microwave doesnt work anymore (the mother always spoils things), i went to the mother and asked:
Mona: How? How long must i wait to thaw these stuff?
Mother: No need. You can just put them in hot oil.
Mona: You sure? No need to defrost?
Mother: No need.
So I heated up a pot of oil and went to watch TV. Then i heard little cackles...ah the oil is hot already. What i didnt know was that the oil was already TOO hot. so i happily went to the kitchen and took out the sausages. There were about 3-4 of them, frozen together and with icicles around them. something told me to stand away from the pot so after dunking the frozen lump inside the pot, i quickly backed off.

What happened next was horrifying. It's much more terrible than the picture above. The sausages got "flambe-d"!
Well, it looks cool in restaurants but..fucked up..not in an HDB kitchen! the fire got so high i was so afraid my cabinet would catch fire. i was screaming for the mother amidst the "cackling" explosions. I wanted to turn off the stove but fucking hell, i couldnt get near there. Thank god my face wasnt near the pot...confirm 1st degree burn.
The fire was on for only 1-2 minutes and after that it fucking died. I was so afraid to go near the stove and held a cardboard near my face. The mother then came in gallantly to turn off the stove. Gaah! If she had cooked dinner, this wouldnt happen. Anyway, thank God there wasnt any major damage and the cabinet was still intact. However, hot oil was everywhere. So well, i spent the next 30 minutes cleaning the kitchen. I swear i could still feel the oiliness in the kitchen this morning.
Oh well.
And if that's not bad enough...there has been some "fund error" and stuff. so now, i am left with 20 bucks in my spending account. Yes, what the hell, you say! i was shocked, too. i would only be "reimbursed" in 2 weeks' time. Then from now till then, what the fuck is going to happen to me? IT's present, how? Wa-fucking-lao!!!

Mona checks purse. $7. 3 $2-notes, 4 20c-coins, 1 10-c coin, 2 5-c coins. That's for the weekend. Mona recalls EZ-Link card value: $1. Mona having thoughts of robbing, stealing and pilfering: Priceless.
Now Mona is going to sulk her away her weekend...doing cheap or preferably free stuff. I feel 15 all over again.
Waiting for a girl who's got curlers in her hair
Waiting for a girl she has no money anywhere
We get buses everywhere
Waiting for a factory girl
Waiting for a girl and her knees are much too fat
Waiting for a girl who wears scarves instead of hats
Her zipper's broken down the back
Waiting for a factory girl
Waiting for a girl and she gets me into fights
Waiting for a girl we get drunk on Friday night
She's a sight for sore eyes
Waiting for a factory girl
Waiting for a girl and she's got stains all down her dress
Waiting for a girl and my feet are getting wet
She ain't come out yet
Waiting for a factory girl - Factory Girl, Rolling Stones
I have curly hair. I have no money. I have fat knees. I work in a factory. It's Friday.
Die, world. Die.
