Fake plastic tree

Burrrrrrrrp.

Adoi..stomach hurts. After a silly 45 minutes of wild goose chase around Parkway Parade, the mother, the aunties, the uncle, the cousin, the sister and I finally rested our sorry asses at Siam Kitchen at 1550hrs.


The sister had a camera but all of us were too hungry to take any pictures.

Yeah had the Mother’s Day special set which was about $18++ per head. This was a joint treat by the brother (who was not present), the mother and I. The mother decided to invite her 2 sisters along and well…why not. The more the merrier. And it was quite merry, thanks to the spirited 9-year-old cousin. The food was nice. It’s hard to go wrong with Thai fare like pineapple rice, mango and tang hoon salad, fish, chicken, vege, tom yum.

So anyway.. hope it was a good Mother’s Day gathering for the 3 old ones. Soong Sisters, Charmed sisters, Golden Girls, Destiny’s Child, wicked witches, Menopausing sisters…etc. Maybe we can have a Father’s Day feast in June..or is it July?


Sigh…money money.


Anyway, it’s Sunday night. 3 months ago, Sunday nights are like the most depressing nights of my life. I would get that sinking feeling and feel like my soul had been anchored right at the bottom of the ocean. And now 3 months later, Sunday nights are like the dawning of another week of hope and opportunities.

Boy, am I positive.
