There’s something about Mary Ed

Victoria’s Secret is having its semi-annual (what’s semi-annual??) sale and urgh, it’s so tempting. But well, I know it’s beyond my means. Next time. Soon. Consolation note – they don’t have my most coveted Victorian nightgowns anymore. Glad I have one of them in possession…tucked somewhere in my bursting wardrobe. Wonder when will I wear it next…

Maybe I will wear a Victorian wedding dress when I get married. The aunties makciks are going to get multiple heart attacks, I’m sure. Will decorate the place (must it be at a void deck? Noooo…) like an Anna Sui-inspired room. Gothic and girly at the same time. Oi, when am I getting married? Hah!

Haha…just so that I can have a wedding?
Tsk tsk tsk.

Let me dream and don’t wake me up.

I just hope the groom doesn’t turn out looking like Marilyn Manson..or Edward Scissorhands. Touch wood.

Anyway…

You know what? You’re no fun. You are immature…and, you are no fun. What’s the point? When you are childish, you are expected to be a bundle of fun. But..you’re not. Haiyah.

Okay.

Gonna make my bed, clear my wardrobe…after that, it’s time to hit the library.

And oooh…window-shopping at NTUC. It’s a beautiful day.

Last night I dreamt of San Pedro
Just like I'd never gone, I knew the song
A young girl with eyes like the desert
It all seems like yesterday, not far away

Tropical the island breeze
All of nature, wild and free
This is where I long to be
La isla bonita
And when the samba played
The sun would set so high
Ring through my ears and sting my eyes
Your Spanish lullaby

I fell in love with San Pedro
Warm wind carried on the sea, he called to me
Te dijo te amo
I prayed that the days would last
They went so fast

Tropical the island breeze
All of nature, wild and free
This is where I long to be
La isla bonita
And when the samba played
The sun would set so high
Ring through my ears and sting my eyes
Your Spanish lullaby

I want to be where the sun warms the sky
When it's time for siesta you can watch them go by
Beautiful faces, no cares in this world
Where a girl loves a boy
And a boy loves a girl
- La Isla Bonita, Madonna

Heh. Is it that easy?
Maybe I hit the beach this Friday before meeting the girlies.

Idea.
