"The crowd lapped up everything they did and said, cheering
excitedly every time Way so much as breathed.
Way: “Singapooooore!”
Crowd: Yaaaaayyyyyyyyy!
Way: “Thank you!”
Crowd: Yaaaaayyyyyyyyy!
Way: “We’re f****** you so hard, you won’t be able to walk
tomorrow.”
Crowd: Yaaaaaayyyyyyyy!
Way: “Seriously, you’ll have some trouble walking.
Crowd: Woooooooooo!
It was probably a good thing the censors weren’t there, because
they would have had finger cramps from pressing the bleep
button. Not that the obviously un-puritanical crowd minded whenever
Way spat out an expletive.
The band even threw in some gems, like when touring keyboardist
James Dewees showed his prowess on the keyboards; and
when they performed a little-known song called Desert Song, an outtake
from the sessions for their second album, Three Cheers For
Sweet Revenge.
Obviously, soaking in the adulation, Way snarled: “Did you see
that?” pointing to the crowd reaction.
“That’s why you gotta go out and start a band. That is the best
s**t in the world!”
For the 6,000-strong fans there, it was a Romance they wouldn’t
forget soon. Best s**t, indeed." the review excerpt nicked from Today, 13 Dec 07
No shit.
