I burst out laughing like a hyena when the result was read.
I mean...Jaclyn Victor was there, wasnt she?
Seriously, Hady?
Many Singaporeans must have parted with lotsa money.
But, congrats Hady.
A win is still a win...so celebrate.

MR MAGORIUM'S WONDER EMPORIUM is no rocket science. It doesnt even try to be a modern, deep movie. It is just a kids' show about believing in yourself, about friendship and about what the future may bring.

Mr. Edward Magorium: Your life is an occasion, rise to it.
......
Molly Mahoney: Are you dying?
Mr. Edward Magorium: Light bulbs die, my dear. I am departing.

Some may expect more out of Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman. Afterall, these people have big movies and TV shows to boot. However, let's forget it aside when you watch this show. It's a kid's movie and that means, Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium didnt bother on continuity or background history. Many loopholes but I did manage to ignore the show and sought connection and warmth and I truly enjoyed it.
At one point...I teared cause I could imagine living through some moments with the father being sick and all.
But haha! I caught Idaho falling asleep. Tsk tsk.
Anyway after the movie, we decided to join the mad women at Mango Wisma Atria for some late night shopping. We went in at 2130hrs and only came out an hour later. I got a shrug and a blouse for $50. Would love to browse more but the crowd was too crazy and there were clothes strewn everywhere. Headache.
